Original Bedwellty Staff possibly

This picture's title is incorrect and it kept us wondering for some time. By cross referencing the people in this picture with the account in the newspaper we have decided that this photo is actually of all the people that attended the official opening of the Bedwellty site school in 1935. Centre front is John Philips - councellor who was the driving force behind establishing a first rate secondary school in the Rhymney Valley.
