EZRA?s founder Mary Griffiths is a past pupil of Bedwellty, hence the close links between Bedwellty and the Charity. Mary attended Bedwellty with Clive Hughes, who is now Deputy Headteacher of Bedwellty) and Clive Walbeoff, currently a senior manager of the school. ?The entire school has been working with Mary for about 5 years. We have all felt that it is a really good cause, but we haven?t felt like we were working for a charity, it was more like helping out one of the family. Mary regularly visits the school and gives the children up dates on the progress in Uganda. She is an amazing woman!?
